Staying Positive

Well, my exam results were out last Friday. It wasn't the result that i expected. I was really dissapointed with what I got. I really felt that i should have done better. I do not need to mention what kind of results I got, but it is certainly one to forget. My other friends have got really excellent results, and they will be leaving for Australia in February 2009. I won't be joining them, which means that i got to find new friends to work with in my current university next year. This is all part and parcel of life.

Nevertheless, it is time to move forward and forget whatever that has happened. This is one of the many kinds of obstacles that i would be facing for the rest of my life. I have to continue to stay positive and work harder in my next semester when i resume my studies. No doubt that i had wanted to study in Australia next year, but since i can't make it next February, i will try to make it in July 2009. I know my parents are a little dissapointed with my exam results, and i promise that i will work harder and not give them dissapointment anymore. Anyway, i am very thankful for the encouragement that i have received from many people like Lay Yean, Hannah and Sarah, who have really been encouraging me and telling me not to give up. I am blessed to have friends like them. Besides, I do trust that God has a reason for whatever that he does. All I need to do is to continue placing my trust in Him and to continue doing my best and I'm sure the results will come. I have to admit that i could have worked harder in this exam.

Anyway, i just spent the weekend with my cousins in Port Dickson. We had a fun time getting together. I just wished my mom could have followed, but she couldn't because she had fell ill. So, only my brother and I went along with my cousins.

Well, December is going to be a really busy month as Christmas is coming. The TO2UGH YOUTH will be having lots of activities and stuffs to do during Christmas. I hope that this year's Christmas will be a very memorable one for each and every one of us. Hopefully, i can talk more about our Christmas programme in my next post.

Till then, have a good week, everyone!!!

Hey! Don't give up. Try your best again the next time round. Everyone fails at one point or another, and there is always something to be learned, even from your failures. May the LORD continue to bless you!
