It's been a super long time since i last put up anything on this very blog. But well, since i'm waiting for time to pass before i officially get to bed, i might as well post something on this blog.
Time really flies. It's already February and i cannot believe that i have been back home for almost 3 months for my summer break. To me, i felt that i have not really rested well. But i have no regrets as i get to go to my home church every Sunday just to worship God and to join youth, though it is only going to be for 3 months. I really enjoy the fellowship among the youths and in the church, as well as being part of the Christmas drama of the youth. Many events have happened during my time back in Malaysia. These things really make me happy. It was wonderful that Dorcas and Kevin came back for Christmas too since i have not seen them for a long time. It was great just to catchup with them and share about our experiences abroad.
Rachel just left for Perth last week to further her studies. We went to send her off at LCCT last Monday. I am sure she will be missed in the youth. I wish her all the best and that God will continue to lead her and guide her as she settles down in a new place and environment. I hope i can pay her a visit sometime this year.
Not to mention that i am currently working in an audit & accounting firm for one and a half months. I have really gained some valuable experience from this job, though at first i was really slow at picking up things from my colleagues. I truly thank God that they have been patient with me, and guiding me step by step on what to do with the company's accounts. I would be lost without them. I have started to understand how working life is. It can be really busy and tiring, and no wonder working people are so looking forward to the weekends. My job is also pretty routine, as there is only one way to go about it. Those of you who are pursuing an accounting degree will probably realise it. By the way, i will be stopping work before the CNY break. I had enjoyed this experience that was given to me though it was short.
I am going back to Adelaide at the end of February. Suddenly, i am having a heavy heart. It feels like i don't want to leave Malaysia. But somehow, i have to let go this feeling and look forward to the future. I have to make use of my time wisely in my remaining days here. I believe God will carry me through the whole year and time will continue to fly. I pray for the youth too that God will show them a vision and that it will continue to grow stronger in relationship and honor Him.
